Barnes & Noble bookfair raises money for Bellingham Theatre Guild

BELLINGHAM - A book fair later this month at Barnes & Noble Booksellers will help raise money for Bellingham Theatre Guild.

Ten to 20 percent of each sale during the event will go to the guild, as long as purchases are accompanied by vouchers found at the guild's Web site, bellinghamtheatreguild.com, or at the theater, 1600 H St.

Proceeds will be used for theater improvements and programs.

The book fair is 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Nov. 28 and 29 at 4099 Meridian St.

As part of the fair, the guild has organized a program that begins at 5:30 p.m. Nov. 29, including a story time of "The Velveteen Rabbit," followed by a one-act scene of the play.

The play opens Nov. 28 at the theater.
